Past Event Celebrations

Badminton Academy Inauguration
Saina Nehwal, Olympic Gold Medalist, inaugurated the world-class badminton facility at Monte South. This state-of-the-art facility offers academy sessions conducted by professional badminton players and provides pay-to-play booking slots for residents and enthusiasts alike.

Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The residents came together on Independence Day for a patriotic flag-hoisting ceremony. The event was followed by a fun-filled sports day for both residents and kids, with light refreshments distributed to all attendees.

Resident Spotlight – Vibha Jain (A-3203)

Meet Vibha Jain, an active resident of Monte South who, along with her family, loves community life. We caught up with Vibha to learn more about her experience at Monte South and her passion for art.

How is life at Monte South for you and your family?
Life here is great! We’ve been settled for over two years, and everything is convenient. My family and I participate in all society events, and the spacious windows let in plenty of fresh air and sunlight.

What do you enjoy most about living at Monte South?
The convenience of having fresh fruits and vegetables in the society is amazing. I also love how active the community is, and I’m happy to contribute by organizing kids’ painting and cultural events.

Tell us more about your passion for art and your work with the community.
I’m a certified art teacher and offer personal classes for kids. I teach various art forms, including watercolor painting and clay work. You can check out my work on Instagram: “Art_by_vibz”

Can you share something about your family and their involvement in society activities?
My daughter, Yuviana, enjoys the play area, and my husband, Karan, a trained dancer, helps choreograph dances for society events. He even won the Garba competition during Diwali!

Knowledge Byte – Automatic Rescue Device – Ensuring Safety During Power Failures

Purpose of Automatic Rescue Device
The Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) is a safety system installed in high-speed residential elevators, designed to operate in the event of a power failure or blackout.

How Does ARD Work?
• The ARD system automatically brings the elevator to the nearest floor and opens the doors, allowing passengers to safely exit even during a power outage.
• In case of a power cut, the ARD ensures that passengers do not get trapped inside the elevator, providing a crucial safety mechanism in residential buildings.

Facility Activities

Fire Safety Demo for Residents
A comprehensive fire safety demonstration was conducted for all residents after the flag hoisting ceremony. Emergency equipment like fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, sprinklers, and smoke detectors were showcased. Our firemen, dressed in fire safety suits, demonstrated how they would enter a fire to extinguish it safely during emergencies.

Fit-Out Labour Check
To ensure cleanliness and decorum within the premises, security guards regularly frisk and check fit-out laborers at the main gate. This measure strictly prohibits the use of pan, tobacco, and gutkha on the premises.

AED Life Support Demo
A demo class on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was organized by an in-house resident doctor for all Monte South staff. The AED, part of our fire safety equipment, is a life-saving device used in case of cardiac arrest by analyzing heart rhythms and delivering electric shocks as needed.

Fire Safety Session for Support Staff
On 15th July 2024, a fire safety session was held for resident support staff, including drivers and house-help. The session included a live fire demonstration and training on the use of hose reels and fire extinguishers, ensuring the staff are well-prepared for emergency situations.
